Sour Cream and Bacon Crockpot Chicken

So anything with bacon can't be all bad right? This recipe holds true to that saying.  The recipe was easy to fix and overall I would rate it a B.  One son said it was really good and the gravy, served over white rice, was delicious.  One son, who tends to be a tad picky, threw the bacon away and part of the chicken.  So all I have is my own experience.  It was tasty and for standard family fair it was good. I guess I just wanted more of a pop.

I love cooking with cream of mushroom soup, but it can get very bland unless you do something to add flavor. While the bacon did add a lot of flavor, I think if I made it again I would add something like Dijon mustard and tarragon.  I'll keep this recipe in my file because with some tweaking it could definitely be an A.
